We are proud to report that with 100% reporting, Prop A, a charter amendment to ensure Fair and Open Competition and prohibit San Diego County from requiring Project Labor Agreements, passes with 75.67 % (443,314 votes) of the vote to 24.33% (132,534).   

This is a historic election as the nation’s 5th largest county becomes the FIRST county in the United States to prohibit Project Labor Agreements by a vote of the people.

San Diego County becomes the 3rd municipality in 2010 to ban PLA’s by a vote of the people (Chula Vista and Oceanside in June and San Diego County in November).  All in all, 477,048 voters in San Diego have voted for Fair and Open Competition in 2010!
