Sometimes it seems like our consultants can be a little overkill on the whole Davis-Bacon compliance thing, but they do it for a reason – to help protect our customers! We found this article about an electrical contractor who incorrectly classified (and thus underpaid) his employees on a Davis-Bacon project. After paying $33k in fines for that mistake, I’ll bet this contractor wishes he’d paid closer attention to those pesky details… (or hired Contractors Prevailing Wage to do it for him).
